All around an incredible experience. If you enjoy oysters (or think you might) I HIGHLY recommend ordering those. If it's a nice day, do yourself a favor and sit outback on their patio and enjoy the gorgeous views. The food is excellent, the staff are lovely; you won't be disappointed.

Wine selection, amazing!! Beautiful location, great atmosphere, sat in patio area. Weather was perfection and so was our dinner. And the onion soup was a big hit for my friend.

We stopped here for lunch after a travel day. It was a delicious lunch! So many tasty options on the menu. And great cocktails! We started with the hummus and the spicy prawns. Both were good. Loved the pickled onions on the hummus and the shrimp had nice heat. The bread they bring is nice and crusty and love the salt on the butter! Everyone enjoyed their entrees. The patio is beautiful with a lily pad covered pond in the middle. And lots of umbrellas for shade. Service was good, not the speediest but friendly. I would definitely go back as many other dishes and drinks sounded great.

Had our anniversary dinner here. Although it was never acknowledged why we were there we enjoyed our dinner and service was really great too. Our waiter was Mauricio I believe his name was. Nice atmosphere. Very quiet on a week night. It was night time so we couldn’t see the grounds but hear it was beautiful.

Food was nothing special. The atmosphere was great. They have a lovely patio area. The service was even great, and our particular server was wonderful. The only gripe I have is they asked me about how much I tipped, which was $20, but they guised it as asking if they had provided good service. Servers in California make minimum wage, which is $16.50. Regardless of how much I tip, I should not be asked about it. If you want to ask about your service, ask me, but leave the tip out. I felt humiliated in front of my company for leaving what I thought was very generous. I only eat at nice restaurants on special occasions, and to me $20 is a lot for how much I make. I don't believe that you "should only be able to go to nice restaurants if you can afford a $40-50 tip". I believe tipping % is not directly indicative of good service but is a mere suggestion and that a $15-$20 tip is more than sufficient.

Salt & Stone in Sonoma is a wonderful dining spot with a charming ambiance and delicious food. The seafood is fresh, and the menu offers a great variety of local flavors. Our server was great—his attentive and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. It has a Tesla charger that is a plus! Although it was taken. A must-visit for a fantastic dining experience in wine country!

Such a great restaurant in every aspect. Beautiful outdoor setting, excellent food and reasonably priced. Great wine selection from much of the Sonoma area... Always great service-love this place!
